OADBY AND WIGSTON GIRLS FOOTBALL CLUB Oadby & Wigston Girls Football Club was formed in March 1997 by Graham Randon and Gillian Wait. Season 2005/06 has seen the Club field a record thirteen teams in the Leicester City and County Girls League with approaching 180 Club Members. This is more teams than any other Club in Leicestershire. With the introduction of a Junior Academy we now cater for girls aged from 5 through to 16. We play matches on Sundays and we have our own ground at the Meadows Sports Ground, Leicester Road, Countesthorpe. We train at various times but usually either Thursday evenings or Saturday mornings.
