Thank you for visiting the Wigston Youth Football Club Website.
Wigston Youth Football Club was founded in 1998 to provide football opportunities for the local youngsters of Oadby & Wigston and neighbouring villages.
We originally started the club around two teams. Since then the club has developed rapidly and currently has teams at all ages from under 8 - Under 17.
We also maintain a junior section which provides football coaching and development for those between 6-8 years of age. Our current membership exceeds 130 boys and girls.
Wigston Youth Football Club won the Leicestershire & Rutland County FA Fair Play Award at Under 10 level in 2000/1.
The Football Association awarded the club Charter Standard Development Club Status in October 2001, making us one of the first two clubs in Leicestershire & Rutland to achieve this recognition.
Our U13's won the Division D Title in the Leicester & District Sunday League in season 2002/3
Our U13's won the Division D Title in the Leicester & District Sunday League in season 2004/5
The U18's won the Spearing Waite Leicestershire Youth League Premier Division 2006/7
The U16's won the Youth League Fair Play trophy in 2006/7
The U14's won Division 3 in 2005/6
The U11's won Division 4 South in 2005/6
